Molly Kang

Molly Kang handles the business side of Star Plair’s Academy, supporting the gym where her family has grown to love its culture and mission. Her three boys have trained with Coach Jejuan since 2024, and it quickly felt like home. Seeing how much her children enjoyed the gym—and how passionate the staff and athletes were—Molly wanted to use her own gifts to help strengthen the place where they spend so much time. What she loves most about Star Plair’s is the atmosphere: a fun-loving, positive community where kids can be kids, while everyone pushes each other to grow both on and off the court.

Outside of the gym, Molly is a homeschooling mom of three boys and a teacher at heart. An extrovert through and through, she loves spending time with people and diving into her favorite hobby: reading. From historical fiction and fantasy to memoirs, sci-fi, and YA, she enjoys a wide range of genres (just no scary or suspenseful books!). This year, she’s challenging herself to finish 150 books, building on a personal best from last year.
